In 2008 I am working on several topics, including those listed below:

1. The euro and the Europeans. The political economy of a new currency.

2. Lessons from the Nordic crises for China.

3. Inflationary expectations in the EU. This work is done jointly with Staffan Lindén, DG ECFIN.

4. Organizing with Oliver Dieckmann the annual research conference of DG ECFIN in October 2008.

5. Preparing a manuscript on the learning process of policy makers.
